SMALL TOWN VALUES
with a passion for Freedom

Growing up in Romeo, Michigan with 6 siblings, I graduated at the top of my class but was stricken with a serious illness in my senior year of high school which changed the course of my life. I still attended college on merit scholarships but was unable to pursue my career as a biologist because of my illness, although biology and science are still a passion of mine. With hard work and tenacity, I have made it through many obstacles in my life, giving me a well-rounded perspective on diverse situations. My resume may not be that of a typical politician but I have been involved with political activism for many years because of how much I care about people and the many struggles we all face. I have been called to stand up for those who need a voice.

My professional career consisted of over a decade in advertising/marketing and design, working in both large agencies and small firms, before working for myself and then becoming a full time wife and mother, along with a small business owner, providing services to the community in the form of accessibility to creative learning.

What I bring to the Wayne 11th Slate is a heart of a true public servant who genuinely cares for the people in the community and in the state and believes everyone deserves respect, truth, and the freedom to decide the path of their own lives. These are values I have always believed in regardless of my life circumstances. In my life I have been a single mother, unemployed, self-employed, unable to pay for my home, divorced, a chronic illness sufferer, a parent of special needs children, a social/political activist, homeschooling mom - just to name a few experiences. I now live a happy life as an artist/Art Hive registered studio owner, mother and Precinct Delegate in Northville with my husband Jack, our 4 children, and a small menagerie of rescued cats and dogs.

I recently for State Representative of the 20th because I see a need for our politicians to represent the people with more transparency and fairness. I would bring a new, and I believe desperately needed, perspective to this role. I believe the Constitution and our Rights needs to be upheld and I trust the people can make good decisions for themselves and their family without constantly being regulated through excessive government orders.

How I am different.

I have been asked often how I differ from others in my party. Where I shine is I have the passion and drive to defeat the liberal socialist agenda poisoning our nation. The views I have appeal to a wider range of constituents including more moderate Democrats. My views on many topics are universal to many swing voters and I genuinely stand for everything I say. I am willing to address topics that are currently very important to many voters, such as possible upcoming vaccine or even microchipping mandates, invasion of privacy and the failing system we have for the increasing amount of special needs children in our schools (something I am intimately aware of) and while many republicans in the house will be addressing the topics frequently mentioned and quite frankly rarely if ever solved, not many have the focus on the topics that are urgently needed to be addressed right now. These times are URGENT and we can no longer allow the government to hit snooze on the rights our state and the Democratic and establishment leaders are allowing to be taken from us daily. I am interested in topics Democrats seem to be drawn to but will fight to bring conservative republican values to the outcomes.
