Making Our Voices Heard

Updated: May 29, 2020

If you don't stand for something, you will FALL for anything!

Recently I attended a rally in Lansing to show support for our House and Senate to NOT renew Governor Whitmer's emergency power over the State. The reason I did not support the renewal was simple: there is no room for a person in her position to not listen to her supporting law makers, especially in a time of crisis management. Your Representatives and Senators are your voice in the process of how Michigan will move forward and if the Governor will not listen to them, she is not listening to you. As a person who had COVID 19 and my entire family went through it, and having had my doctor assure me that I am no longer contagious or susceptible to reinfection, I felt very confident to attend.

Even before this virus came to our state I have been a HUGE advocate for Health Freedom. I am also an advocate for medical privacy. This has been a strong passion of mine for over 15 years and I will always fight for your freedom to decide what is best for you and your family. I also strongly support giving people a voice to express their health experiences and concerns and work toward common sense policies and health education for all.

The rally was very successful and in spite of it raining - often hard - the entire time, everyone was in good spirits. The rally was very positive and even when demonstrators were passionately expressing their frustrations, it was done only to have lawmakers hear us from outside the house floor. We are grateful for our lawmakers who heeded the call of all the Michigan citizens who want to make their own decisions to protect their families, property, businesses and health.
